How long do lip fillers last?
Most hyaluronic-acid lip fillers last between six and nine months. The body breaks down the product gradually. Will my lips look natural?
That is the goal at every appointment. Most patients at Blue Light Dental do not want anyone to know they have had anything done. Can I have lip fillers and Invisalign at the same time?
Yes, with sequencing. We typically advise completing the active phase of Invisalign first, because the lips sit differently once the teeth move into their final position. After that, lip fillers fine-tune the soft tissue around the new smile. Because both treatments are planned in the same practice, the timing is straightforward.
What if I do not like the result?
The two-week review is the moment we look at the settled result together and decide whether to refine. If a result needs to be reversed entirely, we can dissolve hyaluronic-acid filler with hyaluronidase at the clinic. Reversal is a clinical procedure, not a cosmetic one — it is good practice that this is available where the original treatment was done.
Do you offer lip filler dissolving?
Yes. We can dissolve filler placed at our practice or elsewhere. The consultation works the same way — assessment first, then a treatment plan. If you have had filler placed at another clinic and are unhappy with how it has settled, you are welcome to come in for an honest assessment.
