A personalised approach to facial lines.
Every face is different. If you’re concerned about facial lines or changes in your appearance, we offer individual consultations at our Archway clinic to discuss your concerns, assess your suitability for treatment and explain the options that may be available to you.
Our approach is built on careful assessment, informed choice and treatment planning tailored to you. Consultations are led by Dr Monika Laczna.
Your consultation
Your consultation is a chance to talk about what you’d like to address and get professional advice about the options that may suit you. During your appointment, your clinician will:
- Discuss your concerns and goals
- Review your relevant medical history
- Carry out an appropriate facial assessment
- Discuss suitable treatment options and alternatives
- Explain the potential benefits, limitations and risks
- Answer your questions
- Discuss costs before you decide whether to proceed
A consultation doesn’t mean treatment will necessarily be recommended. Any treatment is subject to an individual clinical assessment and suitability.
Concerns we can discuss
Forehead
Lines can become more noticeable over time.
Frown area
Vertical lines can develop between the eyebrows for a range of individual reasons.
Around the eyes
Fine lines at the outer eye area can become more visible with age.
The appearance and cause of facial lines vary from person to person, so an assessment is needed before any treatment options can be discussed or recommended.
What happens next?
After your assessment, your clinician will explain the options considered appropriate for you. This may include choosing not to have treatment. Where treatment is being considered, you’ll be given information about the proposed procedure, expected outcomes, relevant risks and possible alternatives so you can make an informed decision. Results can’t be guaranteed and individual outcomes vary.
Some lines are linked to skin quality. In that case we may discuss skin boosters, polynucleotides or microneedling, or a wider facial rejuvenation plan.
Your safety comes first
Facial aesthetic procedures are clinical treatments and shouldn’t be carried out without appropriate assessment. Before anything goes ahead, we’ll discuss your medical history, suitability, treatment options and relevant risks, and you’ll have the chance to ask questions before giving consent.
Aftercare and support
If you have treatment, you’ll receive aftercare advice explaining what you may experience afterwards, the precautions to take and when to contact the clinic. If you have any concern after treatment, call Blue Light Dental & Aesthetics on 020 8340 0666.

Facial lines consultation FAQs
Do I have to have treatment after a consultation?
No. A consultation is a chance to get professional advice. It doesn’t commit you to anything, and treatment won’t always be recommended.
What concerns can I discuss?
Most people come in about lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows or around the eyes. We can also talk about fine lines, skin texture and other changes you’ve noticed.
What options might we discuss?
It depends on the cause of your lines. Skin quality treatments such as skin boosters, polynucleotides or microneedling, and a good skincare routine with sun protection, may all be part of the conversation. We’ll explain every option.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. Injectable aesthetic treatments are only available to adults aged 18 and over.
Will I be told the costs?
Yes. Costs for any option we discuss are explained at your consultation, before you decide whether to proceed.
What happens if I have a concern after treatment?
Contact the clinic on 020 8340 0666. You’ll be given aftercare advice and told exactly when and how to get in touch.
Considering treatment?
The first step is a consultation. We’ll discuss your concerns, assess your individual circumstances and explain the options that may be appropriate for you.
